While you are watching a movie at home with your significant other, one you BOTH chose to watch and haven't seen before, would you be on your laptop? Or do you think thats really rude?

Don't ask me! Apperently men can watch a film and be on the laptop at the same time. I personally think its rude, if you don't want to watch the movie, go somewhere else. Me and my boyfriend always watch movies together and never go on laptops or anything, unlike SOME people

If the film was pish, for example, Sex and City 2, I'd watch it and criticise it until she told me to, "get the hell out!" = Ideal.

Otherwise, I'd just watch it.

Although I don't think sitting on the laptop for 10-15 minutes is much to get worked up about.

If you sit on the laptop for an hour or more, when you've never seen the film before and it's kind of 'your time with each other' then you need to catch a grip, in my book. :p

Its usually for most of the film from what I've seen and it is 'time together' time

1. Not me and my boyfriend, my boyfriend actually watches movies with me and snuggles and stuff, I have nothing to complain about. Its another couple who I am close to the lady

2. I hardly ever ask questions as I am ACTUALLY WATCHING THE MOVIE. My boyfriend is actually one of these question askers, so please don't generalise its a female thing

3. I personally think its rude as typing can be distracting and you aren't focusing on the movie. It was film they both hadn't seen, not 'Some dross' like a chick flick, but Men Who Stare at Goats, which they both agreed on watching. Laptop was on right from the begining.

I just wish to know opinions on this, I am not whinging about my boyfriend, becauses hes awesome and man in question is most certainly not :D

Hahaha I haven't personally seen it, but you forgot the rest of the quote where I said, 'like a chick flick' :P
