WOW, 1920x1080 black border ?

So i got a new monitor today and switched WoW to 1920x1080 and it has a black border either side of it, still a full picture but not full screen.
Anyone know how to fix this ? any info is appreciated

1920x1080 is 16:9, sounds like he's playing in 16:10 and needs to switch the ratio to 16:9.

Well try both if ya have the option?.

Not sure what one would be right for you monitor because you did not state what monitor he had.

1920 x 1080 is 16:9 regardless of the monitor.

1920 / 16 = 1080 / 9

Oh never knew that I just tested both till the scope circles actually looked round not oval hahahahahahaha
