Waiting till after Christmas when hopefully supply will be able to meet demand.
Nvidia may have a competeing card out hopefully by then as well.
Still I can live with my 9800GT till prices get respectable again. I wouldn't mind quite so much if you could actually get hold of the cards, but I have seen some competitors quoting 40 days lead time for 5850/5870.

i know they're due to increase but surely this has got to be a mistake on the site. Especially the Vapor-x. They don't honestly expect to sell any at that price surely!

personally i'm glad i got mine @ £298 but think it's a bad move from ATI.
always renound for fair pricing etc but now getting greedy. suppose it's what happens when there is no competition.
