I never enjoyed wow at all but a friend gave me a lvl 69 account a while ago which is in the Horde fraction (what ever that means). I hear that people sell high level accounts for money. do you think this account is worth any? and if it is worth some money should I put it up on eBay (can i say eBay?)

they can be sold, but i believe this is against the laws set out by Blizzard and that would mean (i guess) that ebay would not be an option. as for account wouldnt think you would get a lot, not got a lot of very good stuff maybe check google for sites that allow you to sell them. thinking about it i could sell mine, got a 76Death Knight and several other characters got some nice stuff and over 1.6k gold dont really use it any more

Possible to sell them but a few scammer sites going round that just steal them outright and if you're selling on ebay need to phrase it right (like you paying for my time and effort and everything remains property of Blizzard, etc). However, as mentioned a lvl 69 wouldn't really be worth anything.

One look and I'd say it's been tainted by a cheap-laboured china man. You'd get more for an unfolded piece of origami.

It also a bit dubious from a friendship standpoint. He gave you the account presumably for you to play not profit off he could have done that himself.

Dont bother tbh, lvl 69 is not worth anything and is againt Blizzards T&C etc.

You might get £1 for it.

If someone is partially blind.

And clicks on the wrong item to buy by accident.

And accidently enters £1 instead of 1p.

Yup agreed. you only get money for a WoW account if it has level 80s, and only good money if you have a lot of lvl80s and they are covered in the latest gear.
