wow cata fresh install 9 gig addition download??

hello everyone,

quick question about installing cata from scratch, ive basically installed all the wow games in order, wow//bc//lc//cata and when i run the launcher it says it needs to download another 9 gig?? is this correct? i was under the assumption that all the data was on the discs and it wouldnt need patching so soon after release?

or has something gone wrong and the launcher cant see the installed game data?
 
you could have just installed the cata dvd and then downloaded the patch. no need to install the older clients first

But yes that is right it does have more downloading to do :(
