Hey,
Got some problems, Installed my new saphire 4870x2 after having a powercolor 4850 on a 24'' monitor so I needed an upgrade. Anyway, installed the drivers that came with it etc and ran 3dmark vantage, got about 12k with spec in sig, minus that power supply and ofc the 4850. Ran LOTR conquest for like 30mins last night on full graphics and the PC didnt stutter at all, so I dont think it can be the system.
Anyway, whenever I log onto WoW, I can be logged on for about 5-30mins until it crashes, the crash just freezes wow and lets me move my mouse and hear music, it sometimes lets me tab out and browse the net but not all the time. Also alt f4 or ctrl+alt+del just lock the whole pc and force me to reset it with the button on the front. I'm getting 60+ fps on the game, just really not sure what it is and its getting annoying, people on vent are getting annoyed too with me keep disconnecting
EDIT: I have also repaired wow multiple times, but only reset it, not check files as redoing interfaces is really annoying unless I definately know its going to fix the problem.
Anyone know a way to help with the problem?
