WOW Demo

I have just downloaded this demo and about to start it up. I never played this before. I know there is a lot of people on these forums who play it but where do I start?

What realm are you guys on? Can I play with you/speak etc using this demo or is it limited to a demo realm?

Any help is welcome..

My housemate just downloaded a 10-day trial that is over 3 gig, don't know if it is the same thing as the demo if there is one.

3.16gb.. it d/ls via torrent but you can turn off the p2p transfer and go http instead. I got 250kbs doing it that way

Edit. yes its the 10day trail I got.

Edit2. There is also a 200mb patch to d/l aswell. You start the game and it will authorise the game and d/l the update them you ahve to restart it. The Blizzard downloader will start and d/l the patch for you. shouldnt take too long. 20 mins for me .

Edit3. And theres another patch. Only 2.8mb :rolleyes:

Am on Doomhammer realm. If you create an Alliance character on Doomhammer realm then add the following 2 characters:

Bluetiful
Bootyful

to your friends list. (Press O and go to friends tab).

If I am online at all, send me a whisper (/w Bluetiful) and il chat to ya, or come help you

I'd be interested to know, with the 10 day free trial can you create characters from the expansions' new races (Dranei and Bloodelves)? Good luck playing, my server seems to be going offline all the time now due to more players playing the burning crusade.

Just getting my trial, should be ready in 30mins or so so will make an allicance char on Doomhammer and add you badgermonkey.

Will also add the OP if he leaves his char name?

If anyone starts on Jaedenar add me

Limitations include:

No trade
No mail
Lvl 20 max (I think)
A gold limit (Canny remember it).

And no you can't access any Burning Crusade material on the trial (Including races).

Can't say I've noticed any server instability on Jaedenar due to the expansion, must be bad servers
