WoW down for anyone else?

Anyone else unable to connect to wow? ( friday 2.45 pm ) My guildmates are still online but im unable to connect and all wow webpages show as

Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.


Ive phoned zen ( my isp ) and they say that wow appears to be offline... so anyone else in the uk unable to connect or is it just me/my isp?
 
Same here can't connect and can't get to server status page. Looks like if you are on you are OK but if you are logging in you can't.
 
The following realms are currently not appearing in the realm selection screen:

Aerie Peak, Boulderfist, Eonar, Frostmane, Grim Batol, Jaedenar, Kazzak, Kilrogg, Outland, Ravenholdt, Stonemaul, Tarren Mill, Vek'nilash and Wildhammer.

We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

It appears to be the login server too. Well certanly for me, I'm not even getting as far as the handshake (also my main server isn't on that list).

Finish work early and can't log in - status page and forum won't load so I guess we're not alone by a long way.
Couldn't do it when I'm at work..... damn you Blizz I swear you wait for me to leave and then crash something :eek:
 
Login server is working fine for me, but I can't play anyway, since my main server is down. Blah.
 
A chorus of "Why are we waiting?"...... :(
Never any updates or ETA's from Blizz - at least you could decide whether to give up all together the evening :rolleyes:
 
No updates as yet but the general concensus is that certain ip addresses are getting blocked at the firewall. If you have a dynamic IP address you may be able to get connected by changing your IP. If you are static like me though you are stuffed. Typical that I was off work today and was going to spend it playing WoW... serves me right I suppose lol
 
I was playing up until about 4pm no problems, disconnected to have some dinner, and now I cannot log back in... just hangs at connecting.

Just tried that and no joy :(
Nearly 4hrs now since it went wrong :mad:

I think a few people that got it to work had to give it a few goes to find an ip that worked. I suppose it depends if it has blocked loads of random ones or whole ranges. It has worked for quite a few people though so if you are having problems it's worth a go.
 
A friend of mine can log on fine, actually a few mates can. They can even log on as me using my account info but I can't log on as anyone?
