WoW down for anyone else?

It's a problem with them blocking your IP address it seems. If it's a static one there is nothing you can do except wait for them to get it sorted. I'm in the same position.
 
Well it was working for a while since about 11ish but as of 12.25am its just happend AGAIN.

If this is what normal wow is like god help us when they release TBC. :eek:
 
I've been playing fine all evening, just about to start a new AB game and it just i get an eternal wait after it anounces 30 seconds to go. Had to alt-f4 and now can't even connect :(. Was going for HW dagger on my alt and am gutted i wont be able to finish it off tonight.

Ive phoned zen ( my isp ) and they say that wow appears to be offline... so anyone else in the uk unable to connect or is it just me/my isp?

yes because i appeared to be only me having the problem... hence why i made the post ;)

I since discovered that its something at blizzards end. Im a guild officer and was supposed to be leading a BWL run tonight hence why i was desparate to get it working again.... 39 others relying on me and such.

As it turns out loads of others had the same problem so no raid was possible.

I couldnt get any info from blizzard as the whole web page was down and also the forums.. so as far as i could tell it was only a problem i was having. Posting here suggested that others had the same problem and phoning my isp narrowed it down to a blizzard problem. About 5 months ago ZEN ( my isp ) had a problem to do with some routing in manchester that meant no one on zen could connect to WoW so i was making sure it wasnt that again.

Yeah it appears to be sketchy again. Played for a few hours and logged out. Just tried again (not that I was planning on playing more tonight) to test it and can't get connected. Hope they get all this rubbish sorted before BC.
