I try to avoid using it when I can, but whenever I'm forced to use it, it lags my internet connection to hell. It literally takes about 20 secs to load Google.

AFAIK it's a torrent client, but I've already done the TCP connection patch, and also opened the ports it uses.

Any ideas why it slows down my browsing so much? It's not even going fast. :/

Got 1GB of test realm patch to go. :/

EDIT: I'm on XP SP3 btw.

EDIT: Found a mirror for it, never mind.

Same, I think its either my crappy ISP or something to do with my router.

Just realized it slows down browsing on other PCs on the network so it must be a router thing. It's a decent router though so I'm suprised it does that. :|

It's because it saturates the upload.

If it's not even going fast then that's unlikely. It's more likely it's flooding the router with more connection requests than it can handle.

Try what Haly suggested. Fire up the torrent you get in uTorrent (or something) and limit the amount of outgoing connections the torrent client can request. This should help solve it.
Either that or find a mirror elsewhere.
