i download the trial version of wow and then the full version and set up a subscription and didn't realize that i'm on the united states/oceanic servers and not the eu, what are my options if any for getting onto the eu servers will i have to cancel my subscription and start again.

you're gonna have to make a European account and change your WTFrealmlist file to european (can't remember what you put in it)

i've got a cd code which i got when i upgraded to a full account, will i be able to download the uk version and use that code ,i'm not bothered about loosing my characters and starting again.

I believe I read recently the realmlist change has now gone, and the EU and US client have split apart a little more than they used to be.

If thats the case, you'll basically have to buy a UK copy of the game, and start again. Without TBC it can be had for £10 with a month subscription though, so not too bad :)

i don't mind buying a copy of the game like you say you can pick it up for a tenner, will i have to cancel my monthly subscription and take out another.

Yes you would, as the new game client will create a new, EU account, as EU and US accounts are seperate, and the new copy will include the serial code to allow you to create your new EU account :)

This mite be a silly suggestion but call the blizzard helpline....

They should be able to tell you straight away.

hahahahaha now thats funny... obviously you have never tried to get help with warcraft have you? :D

The customer support for WoW is the worst ive ever ever EVER dealt with. It takes 3 or 4 weeks on average to get a reply to an email, if you ever get a reply of course, and the telephone system never works. If it does work you get some clown at the other end who had no idea about anything and just reads from a sheet of paper and wont actually answer your questions. They take customer service to a whole new circle of hell ;) ( and i thought talk talk had won the naffest CS award... they can learn a whole lot more from blizzard trust me )
