Hello, I've have been out of the pc building loop for a couple of years now and due to a busy work schedule etc, i'm struggling to research the best parts for my money. Would anyone care to help spec me a £700-800 gaming PC? It will pretty much only be used for casual WoW playing and reddit browsing.

I will not need any peripherals/optical drive, but will be looking for a complete new system including an OS. I would rather stick with intel/nvidia, but i'm open to other options if it better suits my budget.

I will be purchasing all of the parts from Overclockers and will be capable of building the system myself.

Thanks for any input!

This is the best deal ever on a 290, were not only going to hit £199.99 Inc. VAT, but were giving FREE next day shipping to everyone and you also get the AMD Gold voucher giving you over £50 worth of FREE games, yes that is like getting a 290 for £150.

The catch! The price discount only works by entering this voucher code at checkout:-

So, real Total: £820.

Bit over, and no storage HDD to begin with, but is overclockable, very nice cooler and quiet/effective fan, and black/blue theme going on.

Cooler will be tight but should just about fit if measurements are correct.

I think Tamzzy's build fits what I need right now! I appreciate your input Danny75, but i doubt I'd ever play those free games and I won't be overclocking, everything will be left at stock speed!

I've got a few days off next week, so I will be making some final decisions in the next few days!
