WoW - Guild Banks (Important)

Yeah it's a big one. It's a tricky sequence of events that probably no-one would have even thought about in PTR leaving only Blizz to pick this up, 50% of the testing written off straight away.

This has been said by Bliz themselfs, what I am about to say is very REAL! If you are afraid close this browser NOW!

Bliz do NOT fix known problems in patches! Remember the shoulder graphic error on Male Orcs not to long ago? Obviously they knew of this in testing on the PTR but did not bother to fix it. (And that was the last small patch before a major patch was released meaning that graphic error was left for a long time )

There are tons of bugs/flaws that are known to blizzard and they still release patches anyway. They know this, they have voiced this themselfs and have come up with the grand excuse of deadlines and that they are generally not major bugs - which eventually get patched in the next patch - and the new patch has more new bugs.

Bliz loves to do that. Bliz LOVES you, you love bliz, give bliz more of your money to farm in-game gold for repair bills (love you tanks). And pay bliz more money to farm more gold for repairs. (love you tanks).

Bliz love to talk to you via tickets too, many hours of waiting so that you forget what the **** you sent a ticket for in the first place

:)

Thanks for the warning but tbh I don't love Blizz, in fact if I logged in right now and my account had been stripped to the core I'd not really bother that much at all :).

It's a game.

I just wanted to give a heads up to people.
After all there are some people that treat it as if they hand coded it in BASIC.

Obviously they should prioritise shoulder graphic problems over game balance issues. After all, it's REALLY REALLY important that your shoulder graphics look right. Or the reality is that WoW is a constantly changing environment based on what must now be considered old code. Changing one thing affects something unexpected. They'll have a list of things that will be fixed before they'll release a patch. When something game breaking is discovered too late (such as Shamans being able to pick up T6 armour without tokens), it's hotfixed in hours and they go to great lengths to resolve the fallout (such as tracking down sharded T6 and removing the shards from accounts).

It's Thanksgiving in the US - they don't have many staff on so this issue hasn't been fixed yet. This is also why they've delayed the start of Arena Season 3

Do you work for Bliz? There service is terrible! You can bring up all the single points you want, there are hundreds of issues with this game.

Generic Anti Blizzard Response!

Nope. I loved the Diablo and Starcraft series and very much look forward to SCII. I played WoW for over 2years and very much enjoyed it. After problem afer problem with the Service on WoW I gave up trying. It really is full of problems, I played hrs everyday, raided end game.. did it all. I just got fed up of the technical side of it.. the service side, the lack of fixes. The hidden changes. etc etc..

Do you work for Bliz?

No, I'm simply one of the 9 million people who enjoy the game enough to maintain a subscription

there are hundreds of issues with this game.

True there are probably hundreds of vastly important issues like shoulder graphics being too small, tooltips being slightly incorrect and so on, which are dragging down everyone's enjoyment. Meanwhile Blizzard spend all their resources on worthless endeavours like increasing content and tweaking game balance.

Boo hoo. :p

Blizzard spend time on fixing things. I haven't said they dont.

When WoW was still being worked on before release there were a bunch of different people creating the content. If you compare Alliance to Horde you will find the Alliance maps are more detailed, created better and the Horde is rushed. This is because the original designers left - The people that took time to use the forums to show exmaples and ask what people thought and made changes from feedback.

Do you see Bliz today doing this?

You also say they work on new content, which is true. The new Expansion for exmaple but the people that fix things are not the same as the grp doing the patches. There are tight deadlines for things to get done and priorites that must be met. Because of this lots of things dont get done. Now if it was done right there would probably be more players today and far less complaining on the WoW forums.

My second post on this thread was sarcasm which obviously isn't detected by WoW fanboys. Thats fine. If you continue to enjoy WoW then good for you. Although rambling on about the graphic shoulder in your posts wont make me look stupid, it just shows how constructive you can be in this discussion. The Bank issue is a big problem but it wont be hot fixed because bliz rarely do hot fixes these days so you will have to wait until Tuesday or the following week. Maybe longer.

Enjoy your game.

The golden age for wow was before the expansion. Loved the game with all its faults but realised what would happen when TBC came out, so sold it.

Tech support was shocking, I was one of those on Nildram suffering disconnections in raids, and tbqfh they didnt give a toss, was another reason to quit.
