Im currently on my third WoW character it is a L70 human hunter. I also have a L70 Human Warrior & a L70 Human Warlock.

My problem is I have a number of group quests for each character that it is just impossible for me to do on my own. Suppose that is why they are called group quests.

i've tried the looking for a group routine but no one seems to want to do the quests.

Ok, I think i can live without doing the Q's but according to everyone Im really missing out if I dont do any of the instances', so I therefor really need to join a guild........can I find one.........

Seems bizzare i know but any of the conversations i have entered in to with people who post messages in the general chat only want tanks or healers for Karazan (sorry if spelling is incorrect).

I tried one guild who said they were really strong do lots of runs etc, yes they had 66 members but at any one time there were only a max of 4 of them on and they didnt reply to any messages i posted other than hello !!!!

So I want to join a guild of shall we say Mature players who like doing quests & a few runs each week after about 7:30 most evenings, use the group calendar & who are not toatally driven by their own needs.

You don't mention your server so I can't be specific but most guilds don't take too many hunters since they have such a bad reputation from Bot farming and antisocial playstyles.

Not saying all hunters are like that by any means but there seems to be a larger proportion of gung-ho, Rambo hunter types that think thye can solo their way through the game. These kinds of players often have problems adjusting to the group mindset where cooperation is paramount.

While the guild I associate with frequently take hunters (as do most other mature guilds) I'd recommend that you apply to a guild with your Warrior or Lock and then ask if you can bring the Hunter along too.

Also, check out your Realm's forum on the Warcraft forums and see who is recruiting - don't be too ambitious and try and join a raiding guild just for now.

Yeah, on Alliance it's Dwarf and Nightelf only.

I'd recommend getting groups for level 70 instances and attempt to get your gear to a decent standard. Any craftable epics, get them crafted, this will give you the best shot at being accepted into a raiding guild. If you're kitted out in greens, no chance, mostly blues and a couple of purples and you'll have a fair chance. Look at wowjutsu for your server, and apply to a guild in the top 20, somewhere near the bottom of the top 20 I'd suggest. Don't put more than 1 application in at once. Most guilds coordinate on forums for that particular server so you'd probably get found out. Keep plugging away and you might get in.

Also, running 5 man level 70 instances and doing a good job will get you noticed. If you've played well, mention you're looking for a guild to the people you grouped with, they might put a recommendation in for you.

don't use general for looking for a group, or people will start to get annoyed and you'll miss a lot of people who are looking, use the LFG system (which in itself sucks) but more importantly joins you to the lookingforgroup channel where you will probably have mroe success

Do I smell an account buyer. :p

Dont forget everyone is on different realms so its a bit difficult to organise something like that on here.

Not always, some people play/level 100% on there own. Lots of new WoW players are new to MMO and have no other friends who play the game.
