WoW healing mods

Hi

I wonder if any of you WoW players use any healing mods, when i used to play i used benecast which was awesome.

Ive now re subbed and re rolled and would like to a mod similar to benecast for my druid but cant find anything on the net, but thats because i don't know what im looking for.

I use some custom raidframes aka x-perl, grid and a click cast mod like click2cast or clique. All heals are then bound to Shortcut key+click ie, Ctrl and left click = lifebloom.

what i am looking for is buttons next your icon and the partys icons for healing, is this still possible?
 
No it's not, they disallowed it as it made healing way too easy. I used to use Group Buttons ages ago, but now I use Clique. As Robnut has said, you simply bind your heal ability to a specific button like control, alt, control+alt, shift, control-alt-shift etc, and then when you want to heal someone with that spell, you hold down the button combination and click on their healthbar to execute the spell.

OK thanks, shame they disallowed it.

Yes, healing was easier, but it dealt with buffs and debuffs as well, and you still had to keep an eye on their health.

Its not like the mod healed the party for you!
 
I used to use Healbot, similar to Grid in it's approach except it lets you bind different heals to each mouse button plus using shift/ctrl etc to change what it was you could cast. Lets you bind about 15(?) different spells to you mouse buttons, then it's just a case of clicking who you want to cast it on in the UI (similar layout to CTraid).

I used to combine that with Visualheal bars to maximise efficiency.
 
Im in a sunwell raiding guild with my priest, i use x-perl & clique.
Grid is really popular also.

I Miss the emergency monitor from back in the day :P
