WOW help a noob :(

Here are my Talents

I love affliction and at the moment nothing can come close to me on dps, even when i am seducing and using CoS/CoW

*edit* This is purely a raid spec, i don't pvp much (just the usual 10 5v5 arena for points)

Affliction is pretty good. Your spec seems to be focused on PvE where as mine is PvP orientated but can still do damn well in PvE.

Yeah i have played around with my talents quite a bit and discovered that what i currently have is much better for me as it means i still kick ass in pvp but do really, really well in raids,

And i'm sure you are just the same but vice-versa

Hmm, interesting build, may i ask why you didnt go for empowered corruption?

It's a pointless talent until you have a decent amount of +damage, and it's a waste of talents until 70 imo. I've had the same affliction talents all the way to 70, and I like them.

EDIT: I don't think it's a good idea confusing someone new to the game by talking about raiding talents, which he won't need to think about until level 70 ;).

A little tip for rolling a Draenei (or Blood Elf), stay in the new zones (azuremyst/bloodmyst isle or eversong/ghostlands) until lvl20 because those zones are much better designed than the old starting areas and the quest rewards are a hell of a lot better.

I know with blood elves you can get exalted with tranquillen and get an awesome cloak really early on (around level 20), Not sure about draenei but i presume it's the same

Yes, and you can get your non-BE friends to come over to you too (portal to Silvermoon from UC) - I assume something similar is available on Alliance side..

I think it's available from level 16, but it takes until 20 to get exalted. It's something crazy like +7sta, which won't be replaced for a long time.

Alliance have no version of Tranquillen (which is annoying) and the end of zone quest rewards for Blood Elves are pretty much better than the Draenei versions (elves get a few blue quality items and Draenei are stuck with greens....)

Well, so far everything is going great! my drunei priest is level 12, and I am slowly working my way in to being a shadow priest.

I have yet one more question. I have SO many spells I need to use at once, and have 0 to 9 for hot keys, is there anyway I can bind the second row? I REALLY would love a second row with for example CTRL+1 and so on. It is really going to be annoying in a few levels time with all of the scrolling.

A friend said there is a different UI, but I am not really sure the best course of action :/

Thanks again though for all the help, :D

Shift-1 is row 1, Shift-2 is row 2, etc. So to get to row 2 buttons, shift-2 then the button number. Are you aware that you can set up bars above your normal ones, and two to the right? Interface options - advanced options - show bottom left/right action bar.

The extra bars might not have bindings by default but you can easily sort it with the keybinding options, there is entire sections of the list for each action bar.

I don't recommend going all out on UI mods when you are new to the game, it'll probably just add to your confusion and the most fancy mods usually break on every major patch.

Why not use 1,2,3,4,Q,E,R,\,Z,X,C,V,D,F,G,TAB, Middle Mouse, Additional Mouse buttons...etc to bind abilities to instead? They're much easier to access than all those number keys, which will help in PvP.

Plus you can use all of those keys with SHIFT and CTRL modifiers. Should be enough for all of your abilities even at level 70.

You can now have lots of extra bars without the use of any addons through WoW's own interface settings.

I would recommend you to enable at least both bottom bars and one on the right hand bar as you quite quickly use up your bars with spells and pots etc.

For the bottom bars I always bind them with CTRL+1to= so that way I can have two rows of spells easily acceisble again this is something you can change on the keybinding screen.
