WOW help please

i downloaded the free trial of WOW ages ago played it a bit but never got in to it at all...

I'm trying to unistall it now and it keeps saying uninstall.xml could not be read?

any ideas as to why or has anyone else had this problem?
 
Have you tried Windows Add/Remove programs to uninstall or just the Icon in the Start menu?
If not try that.

If you have check your C: Program Files for a WoW folder, if that is there post back.
 
tried add remove also tried the unistall from the start menu.

although i've just looked in the WOW folder on the E drive but there is no uninstall in there?
 
goto the blizz repair thing to see if it has an option to uninstall through it's wizard. I can't remember exactly if it does or not.
 
never came accross this before.. its probably Blizzards way of keeping people hooked!!

can you do a repair on the isntall? if you can try that, could work.

tried that too did nothing!

sod it i'll just delete it then.... if it brakes anything i'm blaming you lot!!....:D:D:D;)
 
Yeah, WoW doesn't hook into the registry like most software. It's why you can just copy the install folder to another PC and it works.
 
thanks for the help guys and i've just spotted i've hit my 250 posts and now get free postage. time to go shopping me thinks...:D
