Does anyone know the addons this person used?

I am really interested in the top bar that shows how many slots are free in their bag, money and stuff.

Also, in their equipment section under Human Mage, there is a drop down box saying none (what is that about)

Finally, what is the damage done thing? Do all of these still work in current WoW versions?

Oh yeah one last thing, I have this HIGHLY annoying message box like a chat box on the bottom right corner, that says how much damage I done, if someone is using a bandage and whatever.

I turned off simple chat box in options and it is still doing it, any ideas?

Thanks all ^.^

The top bar is titan panel. Fubar also does the samething, is a little more powerful, but is also a bit more complicated. Both titan and fubar take plugins from other mods if provided.#

The 'none' tab is where you can cycle through displaying any of the PvP ranks you've earned and is part of the standard wow UI.

Box on the far right - sounds like you've accidentally moved the combat log to me, although I may well be wrong.

Damage meters - yes they still work, but I and my guild look down on them and have banned them for raid use, as people tend to focus on getting big numbers and getting to the top spots on the list, rather than actually doing thier job, which can cause a lot of problems. Due to not having used them for a very long time, I couldnt tell you the names of the current mods.

Top bar is called titan panel

The drop down box is where you can add a title to you name through as far as i know pvp (arenas). For example do arena for a while and you can be called Rival/Duelist Dark_Angel and if you get a good enough rating you can become Gladiator Dark_angel

Damage done is literally damage done. You can set it in raids so you can see the amount of damage done by each member. Not sure on its correct name but should be easy to find. Google curse gaming for loads of WoW mods.

Chat box is combat chat i think where it shows all dmg/heals in the chat box, you can turn this off in chat settings

edit: beaten :(

True to a large degree, but it's always useful to have them running, even if it's just the raid leader/officers. Since lots of bosses now have enrage timers, you need to be sure that you aren't carrying raid-wiping buffoons who are doing half the damage of other people in their class.

I see Titan, Damage Meter, Decursive and CT Raid Assist

Also something on minimap icon list that i dont recognise

Hello Thar...

I just Pur-Chased WoW + Burning Crusade today but i haven't installed it yet.

Do i need to install the original and create the account and install updates etc and then install burning crusade?

I thought if i just installed the original and then burning crusade straight after it might not work correctly or the first free months sub wouldn't work?

Thankyou please ;p

The PvP rank titles are no longer in the game.
You can keep them if you had them before patch 2.0 (when they were removed) but if you made a char since them you wont see them....

You need to install vanilla WoW and then BC on top, Jive. The BC expansion adds and amends to the WoW data files, and doesn't completely replace them. You will still get your free month when you create your account with your product keys, which is done by heading to the main WoW site and entering your product keys and creating an account with account management. :)

This will be linked to you after you install vanilla WoW btw :)

I think that damage meters are quite useful. We currently have quite a few new members, and the meters show to a certain extent whether they are doing their job, or if their gear isn't good enough. My guild master had his running through our last Kara run, and it showed him just how well the new guys were performing. They definately have their use for officers to keep an eye on performance anyway.

That's fine, I just think some people assume that when someone installs Damage Meters it's so they can brag about their DPS after the raid, lol. :)

There will also be some patches after the TBC disk, to bring the game up to date.

IIRC there's one big one (2.1.0) then a number of smaller ones.

hmm pretty much standard interface, only couple of mods. why anyone would still be using runecloth bandages at 70 i dont know.

Some ppl like the vanilla look, i hate it! Me!
Dont see anything additional to what has already been mentioned.

Probably a tailor. I'm 65 and still using them as my girlfriend is a tailor so i'm mailing netherweave to her. Doesn't matter anyway, I still find Heavy Runecloth is good enough. :)

Oh, and I use the vanilla interface with some small additions, like Titan, OmniCC, and a couple others. It does EXACTLY what I need it to. :D

(Then again if I was a warlock i'd probably have a lot more addons tbh)
