WoW installation help

Hi all. I am going to give WoW another go just to pass a few hours every now and then :rolleyes:

.

I have the Battlechest version which has both WoW and TBC included. I have installed both DVD's and now its downloading and installing TBC again :confused:

No idea why. I cant play the game or even update the patches it just goes to the download and install.

Anything I might have done wrong or not done at all?

Its not the source of the d/l's its the fact its downloading and installing the game again AFTER I have installed it already from DVD. Its deffo not the patch its d/l either as the size of the d/l is exactly the same as the DVD.

Im confused now. Its nearly finished d/l now anyway so I shall see what happens now.

I know its a mistake but hey, Im single again...

Ill just play it how I did last time. Just plod along and work my way up, meet some people and group. I like to follow the story and not rush through it. See how it goes.

Now its downloading the patch.. Taking ages now.

It was Patch 3.0.2 or somthing like that. Its installing it now. I presume there will be others to d/l and install too?

Cheers Sleepless, I think I will like it again. Its been nearly 2 years since playing it last. The patch d/l now is the new one and its only 600mb so that will be done soon.

Only thing is I am not sure what to roll. I am nearly always Orc, no idea why, just like them.

After installing the game from DVD it proceeded to download the game AGAIN and install it again. It has finished d/l two patchs now. The second being the newest patch all being well I should be playing it shortly..

Well thats crap... Got it all working and tried to register my physical copy of TBC in Battlenet and it says its already been used, probably from when I installed it a few years back. Now I cant play my BC version.. Any idea on what to do?

My copy of WoW is registered ok but cant do the BC...
