If you look at the top of the char bar, it says "Private WoW server" so he's given himself all this equipment.

True, but 4 chars with all tier 2 items and one legendary.
If you think about the statistical drop-rates of each item, which character he was online with, can only raid an instance once a week, and how long BWL has been open for etc etc, I would say impossible

You don't really. People tried it (especially when the game was still in beta), and there are I think a few (legally very questionable and possibly just completely illegal) odd versions around. They're not really playable from what I've heard - all of the game mechanics is controlled by the server, someone creating private server software has to guess most of it.

We had a private server running across the network at uni. It was **** and was buggy as hell, you can give yourself any item/gold/exp/etc (well the admin can) its fairly simple. Google it if you really want to but they really do it but i dont recomend it.

Oh and its illegal IIRC.

Yes, it is illegal. I would advise that a mod come and close this thread to prevent any further interest in such private servers.

OT as such but..........When you mention that 'nobody can play this long' How long are we talking?? I know nothing about WOW, just curious? Sorry for butting in, just that i see people have 2000 hrs plus for BF2. Are we talking the same sort of amount? Or more?

i dunno. my main on wow has over 40 days played. although i know of people on my server with over 150days played. so it can be at different extremes

WoW is only just over 1yr old. 150 days playtime would mean playing for 10hrs a day everyday for the past year. Find that a bit hard to believe that someone can have played that much in the time that the game has been released.

seems like thats what hes done. every time i logged on hes there.. hes fully nemesis equipped so it wouldnt suprise me.

T'was released early feb 05, so thats a fair old whack of playtime.

I've got about 30days total, thats still 1/15th of my life in the last year and a bit spent playing a video game :eek:
