WoW keeps Disconnecting :(

WoW disconnects after about 10 seconds on both my laptop and my desktop, have done everything on the WoW side to try and fix it but no joy. Have asked on the WoW forum, but no answers

It acts as if there is a ridiculous amount of latency, everyone stops moving etc and then i DC, so does my GF on the laptop, we have a BT home hub btw

Everywhere seems to ask for a pathping, but i dont understand it so here it is anyway :

Had no luck with the WOW forums, and none from the actual BT forums either, you're my last hope guys

Had same problem .. Easy to fix

Clear yer cache folder of all *.wdb files
Delete yer wtf folder
Move yer interface folder to another dir .

Log into an alt thats not in a main city.. if all in main city try log one thats in Org/UC etc not dalaran .

That should fix it as all my installs (5 pcs) had the same and this fixed all of them .

Funnily enough there are quite a few login bugs in dalaran - A friend of mine couldn't even load let alone lag out. All he had to do was make an alt and then make a ticket :/

So you come in not to give advice, but just to say you don't like a game. Awesome.

Just because *you* don't like a game, millions do, and we work, go out, and have lives. It gets tiresome for every wow thread (or whatever mmo) someone comes in with this type of comment.

If you watch movies, play any video games then you are just "wasting time" too.

Yeah think a week of fmight have done me good to be honest

Yes i like the game but i have a social life, ive just made some good friend son there and its a laugh to play with them all, helps that the missus plays along side me as well

Hopefully then everything will stay ok since this morning

Np mate . Since wotlk it seem to be a common thing and i seem to be doing it on a weekly basis . Always fixes it but means setting up all 9 chars again..bit of a chore .

There's ISP transatlantic issues tonight with various UK isps. BE Unlimited are one of those affected fyi.

Am oging to bump this instead of make a new thread.

Same has happened again today, done everything i did last time but nothing

I can create a new character on a different server and play that fine, but any character on the server i usually play will disconnect after about 10 seconds of play
