Leading a Horde Raid in MC today (on a new guild where all are new to MC - Luci is dead).. I've done Magmadar 100's of times with Alliance but not with horde.. Just want any tips you have for killing him with Horde.

For instance I've always used a Paladin (in bubble) for the pull and run to tank.. Fearward done by a Dwarf Priest etc. As Horde have neither of these whats the best method ? Use another tank for the Pull ??

Thanks

Jase

Just use the tank for the pull and spread out. That's basically it. :)

Which tank, the MT or another one... apparently when they tried it last the MT pulled got feared and they never regained control.. ohh well guess I'll soon see..

We use a hunter to pull him at max range who uses the speed buff to get to near the main tank who has a tremor totem down near him to help with the first fear. A quick feign death gets all agro on the tank even before he taunts as long as he's nearest. After that CTRA announces the 5 second warnings so the tank has enough time to switch to beserker stance, pop on beserker rage then switch back to defensive. Our tanks avoid every single fear attempt this way. Tremor totems are your friend in this fight although it should only be the melee groups in range of fear anyway.

Yep as stated stance dancing is needed for the warrior. Im now alliance and you have to love those dwarf priests.

On Horde, use Berserker Rage and Tremor Totems to control the fear, keep everyone else at extreme range, the only classes getting AOE feared should be the melee ones. If any Warlocks/Mages/Druids/Priests/Hunters are getting feared, you're doing it wrong.

Remember Tranq.Shot to keep Maggie's DPS down, and hack away. Shamans must keep Fire.Res/Tremor totems down at all times, Mag also fires globules of fire at random targets. They should just simply move out of the area of effect.
