The Mrs has just asked me to pick a game for my Xmas as she feels she hasn't got me much. I fancy getting one of these as I've never played either, and feel I may have missed out, but can't decide which one.

I've done the WoW free trial a couple of years back and didn't get into it, but I've recently became hooked on SW: TOR so reckon I could get into it now. Am I ok with just Vanilla or is there enough good content in the expansions to justify getting them all from the off?

Really liked Terraria, so reckon I could get into Minecraft as well.

Decisions decisions.

If you're hooked on SW: TOR I'd give WoW a miss. I don't think you'd have enough time to properly get into 2 MMOs simultaneously.

Go for Minecraft.

If she likes spending any time with you, she shouldn't get you either :p

But seeing as you're already into an MMO, get Minecraft.

Minecraft, i'd give WoW a complete miss in my opinion. You're playing SW:TOR which will keep you occupied for a long time, and Guild Wars 2 is out next year for when you get bored of TOR.

Good call regarding two MMO's. Minecraft requested :D

Is WoW worth keeping in mind for later, or has it run it's course?

I quit earlier this year due to Blizzard recycling old content and progressively dumbed down gameplay. I'm not sure how a new player would see it though.

Just stick with SW:ToR imo :)
