wow - paladins and swords?

Can paladins get swords or do they have to stick with the hammer?

never played one but i think they can but only at a certain lvl maybe lvl 40+?

Paladins can use Swords at any level. Humans by default have Sword and Mace Specialisation.

I will find though that Maces have better stats for Paladins when you reach higher levels.

Paladins can use .. 2h sword, 2h axe, 2h mace, polearm, 1h sword, 1h axe, 1h mace, shield.

Paladins can't use ... Staff, dagger, fist weapon, bow, gun, xbow, wand.

Oh, and paladins can't dual wield two 1h weapons

I'd stick with a hammer, especially as you reach about 20th level and get Verigan's Fist. :cool:
