Odd though it might seem to some people, whenever I leave an MMO for the final time I always delete all my characters. Thats what I have done for every MMO I've left in the last 14 years.
If I am leaving for the final time I see no reason to keep my characters in the database and it provides nice closure to delete them. I could sell them, but frankly I dont want other people playing my characters with whom I have built a reputation in game, so would rather they are deleted.
