I have just started Cata and i have a lv 80 mage i am taking to 85 , but is it still worth lving a death knight ? any tips on death knights?
I know the play style will be very different with DK so any tips on best trees to use will be appreciated ;)
 
DK make decent tanks and DPS (although I believe they have may been hit a little in the latest patch) and their ability mechanics are unique. It might also be a nice change of pace to use a melee DPS/tank as you already have a ranged DPS.

Still it really depends on what you like as to whether it is worth levelling - I'd suggest playing the class until you can leave the starting area and travel to Orgrimmar. Also it can be very useful to have a second character at 85 just so you have access to new professions and DKs are the easiest to do this with.
