WoW player looking for a guild.

I'm on Draenor,
I'm an Englishman.
I'm in a raiding guild,(although I haven't raided in ages as I haven't got time) have been through all pre WotLK contents apart from The Sunwell and used to organise runs through Kara etc.

Whats wrong with alts in pugs rolling for gear? you've done it if you got a Hunter and a DK naxxed up.

Maybe have a look for some of the raiding guilds websites and apply there, but don't start moaning on your app form or if you get a trial spot as you won't last long.

oh dear, was going to suggest my guild, but OP seems like a tool.

if "the stupid english cant make their own guilds" why dont you prove it wrong and make one?

I tried have tried to make a UK, I got no interest, you are prolly too busy idol worshipping kungen.

What ?

"exclusive" guilds are always harder to run.

I find part of my enjoyment of playing Warcraft is meeting people from around the world :)

Based on your attitude and original post i'm not surprised they didn't keep you around.

If a player is active, good at playing his/her class and is capable of getting along with other people in the guild socially then the majority of guilds will want to keep you around, regardless of your nationality.

The only real exception is when people create a one nationality guild so they can communicate more efficiently in their native language.

I've been in several high end guilds/clans in different games where the majority of players were all swedish, one where I was the only non swede infact, and they used English just for my benefit.

Yes the english people having a go at me for wanting to play in a UK only guild are stupid. Who's the tool here?

If you want to create and all English guild, then that's down to you.

Complaining on here isn't going to get you that guild.
I find part of the enjoyment is playing with other citizens of the world. Speaking, and getting to know other people is good fun, especially if they're from other countries that have a different culture to our own.

I've been in many guilds with Swedish, Danish, Portuguese, Russian, Norwegian, Dutch players. They've all spoken English with no problem in guild chat.

Personally, I don't mind where someone is from, if they are good at their class, speak good English (as I play on English speaking realms) are social and don't cause drama they're good in my books.

I must say most people who speak bad english in game are usually beyond belief crap at the game too. I don't know why.

The amount of inept noobs I've partied with is beyond reason.

We once met this guy in Warsong Gulch who was totally clueless. We had no idea of his nationality because he didn't speak but after a while one of us said "RUS???????? :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))" to him. He started spamming us with russian text. It was pretty funny :p

Well that's your experience not mine, you can't talk for me.

I'll say last post now, I am looking for a UK only guild, I thought this would be a good place to find one. Instead people are giving their opinions to try and show me I am wrong, stupid or I have a bad attitude.

You are looking for a English people to join a "all English" guild ?

We have a very big Warcraft thread, you could have skimmed a few pages of that and picked up that we in fact have several guilds already.

I'd advise you to go over to the official World of Warcraft site and try asking in guild recruitment, I'd also work on your "people" skills.

something along the lines of...

"hey.

I'm interested in starting a new all English guild on yoursevername. If anyone is interested, my in game name is yourcharactername. Please feel free to drop me a whisper.

If they're are any other all English guilds out there, I'd appreciate some information about possible joining.

Much appreciated yourcharactername"

Forget it, I don't think anyone will understand the issues here either. I don't want to play under a clique core group of Do not swear! scandinavians ever again, you seem to love that though ???. I guess it's only stupid english people yet again who can't make their own guilds, never mind the countless FIN ONLY GUILDS, SWE ONLY GUILDS, DANISH ONLY GUILDS, etc. etc.

No....as it happens I started playing and wanted to join the old OcUK guild called the Mockers. but they disbanded shortly after I started playing, so I accepted a random /ginvite one night and have been in the same guild for the last 3 years 8 months.

We've had Danes come over to London for guild parties andsoem of the English guys going across to Denmark. Are we all stupid?

Or is the real reason you're guildless due to the fact you're about 12 and are acting like it?

That is something I failed to mention :p

Me and my friend went to visit guildies in Denmark, coupled with some old Warcraft players, and a friend that flew over from Scotland, who is Northern Irish :p

The Denmarkians ^^ were amazing.

It was a fantastic, amazing week long holiday, in a truly wonderful country that is full of amazing, friendly, funny people. A complete culture clash, something I'd have never experienced if it wasn't for Warcraft.

I am all for multi national guilds in Warcraft, they've helped me meet and experience some amazing things :)
