So, it was a normal PuG you know, LF1M healer, fasty badge run only. Harmless fun so I join, these are all randoms none from great guilds or anything and some DPS with very low damage output sub 2k.

So we are going along and we kind anoticed that as we got to the final wing Military that not one of us had died on any fight or for that matter come close. Now this was a speed run 2 hours for the whole place...

Anyways we got to Saph .. still no deaths... wtf is happening... Saph dies.. we are all still standing.. was waiting for someone to say they turned God mode on :p

Get to big old KT standing and we are like.. sure what the hell lets do this, Kel goes down.. like a sack 'o' crap.. BAM.. "The Undying"

Best PuG ever!!! and all just for badges. Group was 2 healing shamans, 1x Elemental Shaman, 2x Hunter, 1x Prot Pala, 1x Warlock, 1x Shadow Priest and 1x prot Warrior, and the obligatory DPS DK.

Sheesh... merge it with the WoW thread then, sorry for sharing. It's a rare occasion that anything good comes out a random group. Just got a bit over excited.

I will learn never to share anything again!

When I used to play I had about a 90% success rate with PUGS. Never understood what the fuss was about there is one heck of a lot of confidence in self ability and snobbery towards PUGS in wow.

I swear wow players don't speak in English. I've tried to read the OP 3 times and it is not English!

They (we) do.... mostly.

Some terms spring up though because it makes saying what we need to say shorter. It is no different than saying "frag" instead of kill in an FPS, or hearing a quake player talk about rocket jumping, or a Tekken player say something like:

EWGF, 1, 1, 1, 1, EWGF.

I never once found a good pug in 3 years. Not once. It was a horrible waste of time pugging. Especially as i was always the pivtoal role, main healing or tanking.

So grats. I feel your excitement.

WTF HEELER YOU LET ME DYE FFS NOOB
Yes. That's because you keep taking aggro from adds and i have way more important people to heal. IE, the sodding TANK who is holding the boss.

grrrrrr.

I'd never roll a healer, it's just the most thankless job going, if you do well it's because the MT is well geared and you have good DPS, if you spend all night wiping it's nub healers fault :(

Aye jumping on the bandwagon here.

Pugged undying months ago, was nice mind. Also pugged Sarth +3d 10 & 25 on the occasion.

My mate who plays a DK went to a Sarth 10 zerg group they had 9 Death Knights and a healer. Every DK popped Army at the start and he said they did around 40% of the damage to Sarth, mind you there was a hell of a lot of ghouls pounding on him. This was a PuG that 1 shotted it.

Our guild has a rule:-

If the healers die, its the tanks fault.
If the tanks die, its the healers fault.
If the DPS dies, its their own fault.

Also banned the phrase "I didnt get a heal" and "I was lagging".
Now they are "I ran out of hit points" and "I have kittens". Hearing the raid blaming kittens for a wipe puts a smile on my face :)
