WoW Problem

You can only get on the EU servers with an EU key and account. Dont think US keys work for EU servers. It still says on the europe website about a free trial, but it doesn't work anymore.

The EU free trial does now work again - visit http://teaser.wow-europe.com for the details. You can't transfer your account between the EU and US servers. I suggest you start a new EU trial with new characters - you can't have got all that far into the game on a 10 day trial account. When the trial's over you can then upgrade with a UK boxed version of the game and keep your progress.

or you could go to a well known store that sell games, and buy the trial disk for £1.49, i believe this gets you on the EU servers, but i could be wrong

umm kinda of that same question so ill stay in this thread im trying the us trial (i have us friends playing it ) and i cant actually upgrade to full on the US site cos theres a cap on the number of letters u put into the zip code meaning it wont except my card, so does the box u buy in store in the UK work on US & EU or just EU? and if it is just EU how am i supposed to make my US account a full copy. (confusing lol)

Nope, you can't play the US box with the UK boxed version. The two regions are supposed to be kept secret. If you desperately want to play on the US servers, then you need to buy the US version of the game - then I'm not sure about whether you'd be able to pay your subscription with a UK card. You could buy a US box and then US game cards, but you'd probably be paying over the odds by the time they're shipped over here.

The retail EU boxes you can buy only work on EU servers. For the zip code, have you tried putting in "XDIR" (without the quotes)? That usually works sometimes as it means exdirectory, so your not a part of the US.
