since changing to HDMI for my monitor i cannot run WoW, it seems to just come up with a black screen when ever i press play.

i tried the deleteing the WTF folder that seemed to fix this issue for someone else but it done nothing for :(

can you guys think of anything else it might be? it was working fine on VGA. my VGA isnt very god though so im forced to use HDMI now.
 
No idea if it's related but I had a similar issue after the latest driver update, I'd get a black screen and when minimising to desktop WoW had crashed. Toggling SLI off then back on resolved it though. No other game has had the same issue so a bit weird. For what it's worth I'm using DP and not HDMI.
 
Could do with knowing your PC specs before someone can even begin helping you.

Please list your GPU, motherboard, windows version and your current graphics driver.
 
Maybe its defaulting to a higher refresh rate then your monitor can handle. Try Ctrl-Enter to go windowed mode and see if that works, then you can change options as needed.
