Just decided to hop back on WoW after a long break. Due to issues with my CDs (not reading properly blah blah), I got a new copy earlier.

My old account still exists, but it is 'frozen' and needs re-activating. When I bought the game again earlier, it came with 30 days free.

Is it possible to add this 30 days free to my old account, and continue from there? The reason I ask is because my old account has BC tied to it, and if I create a new account, I would need to re-purchase BC in order to experience that content.

I have done the usual googling and a quick scan of WoW forums. For some reason, I cannot log into their forums, but I can login to my old account, so I can't ask in Tech Support there.

Thanks in advance!

if youve got a frozen account, just means you havnt renewed it since the last time the play time period ended.... just pay 8.99 for a months play time and all will be back to normal as you left it! :)

I know, probably going to do that, but does this mean that the free 30 days I got with the game is useless in my situation?

Heh... believe it or not, I'm on there for educational reasons! :D

Hopping onto a French realm and forcing myself to speak the native language. No translators allowed, but I can use internet resources, dictionary, etc. Currently studying the equilavent of A-Level french, but I don't consider myself to be that good at it. Time to practise I guess.

I'm scared.

Were you aware that you can download the game from the website (at least i think you can), prolly about 5/6gb (might take a while), install and reactivate. That way you only pay your normal sub £8.99.

I was, and tried this method, but had numerous problems with the Downloader and Installer.

Anyway, I'm going to just use my 30 days free on a new account. BC is only £10 or so, so I'll just buy it when I get to a sufficient level.

Updates just finished too, time to hop in :D
