Hi, All

Excuse the spelling by the way

Over the past year I have Levelled a Human Warrior to 70 & a Human Warlock to 70.
Time for a change, so I've started a Horde Blood Elf Hunter. Initally is was fine but I seem to have come to a bit of a stop. My problem is finding quests. Im just shy of Lvl 25 but am really having problems finding people to give me quests.
The area around Tarren Mill for starters was fine but now seems to have dried up. (some are just too hard at the moment on my own). When I venture to the surrounding maps all the nasties are either double question marks or too low low a level to even bother with.

Can someone please either point me in the direction of what area's to try, or suggest a site that can come up with say a Quest Finder ??

Thanks in advance.

There's a Horde outpost in 1k Needles that you might want to visit. It's reached by a lift - you've probably run sweating past the guards as you've taken your Alliance characters to the Shimmering Flats.

Check www.thottbot.com and you can find quests by zone as well, which should show you where to look.

For an ingame Thottbot that you can use to help you whilst questing, I highly recommend the mod

http://www.mobmap.de

Download it, then grab the databases and when you login you can then find information on all quests. Add them to your tracker and each quest will be followed with a ?

Clicking the ? will then bring up stats, show drop areas of any loot and tell you and show you on the Minimap where you return quests.

use this alongside the websites mentioned and it will make questing nice and easy.

Thousand needles is probably a good bet, as has already been suggested. have you tried eastern ashenvale forest, there is a horde outpost there.

What about Silverpine Forest thought that would be about your level?

I think Silverpine is the Undead 10-20 so is more than likely too low. Ashenvale is probably an idea - when I made my first post I thought it was 10-20 as well, but in retrospect I think it's 20-30 like 1k Needles.

For level 25 you're looking at Thousand Needles, Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains, Hillsbrad, or Southern Barrens.

Try looking around Crossroads for some higher level Barrens quests. Also check Camp Taurajo, they have quests for your level too.

Ashenvale has two horde bases, both with flight paths. One is Splintertree Outpost, up the road from the Barrens and fork right. The other is Zoram'Gar, which is on the furthest coast near BFD.

That should give you *more* than enough to get you well up into the 30-40 areas.
I'm levelling a Rogue atm, i'm level 22 and I haven't touched any of the 20-30 areas. :)

Thottbot is the way to go for quest info as it will give you map details, locations and what to do when you get there. Also gives you details of any follow quests too.

will check out the downlaod mod later tonight - not seen that one before.

He has 2 lvl 70's and has never used thott?

I think an ebay account has just been bought.

Thanks for your help guys, most appreciated.

Moving bases made a world of difference.

Not sure if the comment was directed at me ref 2 characters at 70 and never used thott, I have used a number of the sites in question, I was just wondering if there was an add on that when you enterd a new area it could list the quests available.

No prob's.....thanks again

I'll also recommend WoWhead, as a beter alternative to thottbot.

There is an add-on that informs you by tool tips if a item or mob is used in a quest, but I've never used it. Kept meaning to get the name of it, but as I wasn't soloing I didn't bother noting it down.

I used a couple of programs that helped me.

Lightheaded - LightHeaded is a very simple addon that displays quest information and comments from http://www.wowhead.com in game, eliminating the need to Alt-Tab when you get stuck on quest. This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. Data is only loaded when you first request it, so you can be sure you're not using more memory than you need to.

TomTom - TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality.

Using both allows you to simply click any coordinate in LightHeaded to add it to your map as a waypoint. You can just follow the arrow to the quest area.

Quality.
