I'm getting some serious problems with QUESTHELPER v0.48 in wow.

Without it running (enabled in addons) Im getting ~200FPS, with it enabled in addons and switched off at map, I still take a 50FPS hit.

Now the bad part, when it is enabled Im down to 60FPS, and last night it was running 41FPS in tannaris.

Anyone else ahd the issue or know of a fix ?

Yes, older/incompatible addons will balloon in memory size requirements as they're not optimized for the current version of WoW. Always try to keep your addons up to date if you want to maintain a smooth and steady framerate. If you keep using the same addons you acquired weeks or months ago, you will see framerates noticeably decrease with newer patches, especially large ones that include changes to scripting methods.

Had loads of issues with Questhelper. FPS problems like you had, which I put up with. I stopped using it when it crashed WoW whenever I logged my main. Didn't bother looking for a fix - Just installed Lightheaded instead and never looked back.

i tried quest helper for awhile when i couldnt find an updated version of lightheaded, dropped my fps as well which was annoying so got rid of it and went back to an out of date lightheaded.

didnt realise there was an update, so thanks for the link :)

Install Lightheaded and TomTom and you'll never look at any other quest-related addons again. I believe they're the two best addons for World of Warcraft and make questing a doddle (as if it wasn't already!).
