I have a slight issue with my WoW Install - Basically when I recently got my new computer, instead of reinstalling my WoW install I decided to copy my entire installation to an external HDD. I then connected this to my new PC and copied it onto my C drive.
Unfortunately I am concerned that my PC doesn't effectively recognize that WoW is installed so when the expansion comes out it may state along the lines of "Word of Warcraft Not install".
I would like help on how to avoid this issue? The reason I didn't reinstall to my new PC was that I didn't want to have to download all of the WoW patches again (it would take me days) so I'd like a way to ensure my PC recognizes that WoW is installed.
I am running Vista 64-bit at the moment and my install is located where all my programes would normally go.
Any help would be appreciated
