WOW resolution issue

Hi,

i can only see two resolutions on my new laptop in the wow graphics settings......both not the right res for the screen.

how can i change the resolution of wow outside the game?

the WTF folder in your wow directory there is a config file in there

open the config file in a text editor and adjust the resolution

ok, did that but after i turned my computer off and came back to play later.................the resolution had reset back to 800x600 and wont let me select the res i want
