I just got an E-mail from a very suspicious sender and basically it says my WoW subscription is up even though it's been frozen for the last 13 months or so. :p

I thought I would let you know just incase.
It goes wow-europe.1gb.ua... Not cool. Asking me to fill in information on the page. Phishing Scams. They oughtta try harder than this. :p

I think this post was pointless but found it funny, should I tell the actual blizzard?

Can tell them but I'm sure whoever set it up can replicate it within a few minutes somewhere else.. It never ends :(

Yeah I gave up sending scam emails that I received to the Blizzard anti-scam place as it just doesn't seem to help. Pretty obvious to spot a scam though, as it's basically anything asking you to either tell them what your password is or asking you to log on to a site that isn't on the blizzard.com/wow-europe.com domains.

I actually received one this morning telling me that my account is under review, and that I should link my mobile phone to my account through a random website :P I don't even play wow anymore!

Probably little point. Worst happens and it gets shut down they will just remake the site. I doubt that anyone will be sued for it.

If you want to though feel free.

When i get these kind of things through steam firend chats (from people who do it through the groups) I always give them somthing that looks totally legit like

Acc name tefal1465
pw Horationelson

Just because i know it will waste more of their time than sending them abuse :p

Although considering it says "never give your password to anyone" in every steam chat window permanently, i can't see how idiots still fall for it.
