WoW-Sending Money Between Characters

I've got an alliance druid and I was trying to send some money to an alt who is a blood elf. I get a message saying the target is unfriendly and wont let me send anything. Bit frustrating cos I thought you could send money between characters regardless.

I assume you have multiple accounts? as you can't have alliance and horde on the same realm. In which case, why not trade the gold, or use neutral AH (albeit this can be risky)

You can on a PvE realm I think.

You will have to use the Neutral AH, put something up (like crap) for the amount you want to trade over.

So, Blood Elf puts up Copper Ore for 500G, your Druid buys it.

However the neutral AH takes a 10% cut or something.

It is a game design feature that there is NO interaction between Horde and Alliance (Except emotes and fighting).

To transfer money:

1) Use the independent auction houses and sell post some worthless item for a large cash sum with one character. Then buy it with another character. You will have to pay a commission to the AH.

2) If you know someone you trust in the opposite situation then just give each other money - Your faction char to theirs and their (opposite) faction char to you. This is a way of effectively transferring money across servers as well.

You can't trade using the neutral AH on the same account, it detects that your characters are from the same acc. and won't let you bid, so unless you have multiple accounts you will have to get a friend to help you.

Or do what i do,

buy something thats insanely expensive and will sell on the opposite side for the same or more. then goto the neutral ah and list it at 1c.

You need to get back in quick to buy it.

Best way was to get a mate to buy it at 1c for you, then give it to you in game.
