Well I stopped playing WoW a few months ago because my guild split up and on Frostwhisper It was impossible to join a decent one unless you already had BT/MH loot. I took the chance to take a break, but now I know I will want to try the expansion and it is maybe a good time to reroll.

Frostwhisper seems quite dead these days so can anyone point me in the direction of a decent server in terms of guilds and playerbase.
 
I would be inclined to wait till WotLK is out to be honest, as I think there will be the same lull between now and then like there was with TBC.
 
I guess but i was going to roll a new character to 70 before then. I have a selection of toons, but I was going to make a dedicated healer.
 
I started playing again on Blade's Edge this summer, it's the new PVE realm that opened early July, and I've really enjoyed it here.
 
I left Azjol Nerub for Nordrassil. I found Nordrassil boring, but when i returned to Azjol Nerub a year later, i couldnt help but notice how ludicrous the economy had become. There's a couple of guys on there who just farm stuff to sell on the AH for stupid prices, and everyone matches them. Sub level 10 greens for 50 gold? no thanks.

I've just started on Blade's Edge as well, loads of guilds recruiting at the moment and the requirements for joining (what loot is needed etc) are still minimal if at all. Only up to 62 at the moment but hopefully I'll get to 70 and have a few raids with my guild done before WotLK is released.
 
The Maelstrom is very well populated with quite a few advanced PvE guilds. I PvP mostly so I couldnt give you much more detail unfortunately. Its also on the same Battlegroup as Frostwhisper if that matters to you.
