WoW server suggestions.

Looking to roll a new character on a new server, any of you guys who play WoW recommend a server? I don't care whether it's Horde or Alliance just as long as there are some decent guilds for leveling and raiding.

Probably best going with what Blizz recommend you go on or any new servers that have recently started up.

I play in Vashj - seems like a good server to me, give resevil a shout if you use vashj

Go to a highly populated pve server.

It will be full of kids, but you will be able to lvl and buy gear quick. Also run all the entry lvl raids.

I came to a low pop server (blizz recommended), following friends, and it was fun at the start. Now it is cruel, it is almost impossible to pug anything apart form HCs.

yea dont go to a low pop one, you only spend most of your life waiting for a grp

I thought it was usually the opposite. High pop servers are full of level 80's and barely any low levels to pug with. It was like this for me on both Kazzak and Shattered Halls. I got through to level 76 on Shattered Halls by myself with the odd instances. Never been in a raid before and very rarely party for quests. There are no guilds either that accept people below 80.

Terokkar is full of new players leveling up so there's pleny of people to group with when levelling. Only problem is that it's full of new players so if you're experienced you'll likely be tearing your hair out at the daft things people do. Other downside there are very few quality raiding guilds if that's the way you want to go.

My vote goes for Hellscream. Some of the best guilds are on there, tones of players from all levels and you can always find a group for pretty much any instance you choose.

Great server... playing horde.

I'm on Stormrage. Everyone speaks English, loads of guilds looking for players and lots of PUG's.

I've got a druid on there and it is pretty decent alliance side too.

My vote goes to Frostmane (Horde). Have no problems finding groups on there and there's always plenty of levelling guilds spamming hillsbrad/barrens chat. Some good progress raiding guilds too. The only downside is it's full of scandinavians.
