WoW Servers.

Moving from the US to EU servers with my brother and basically looking for a server close to the UK (or in the UK) for good low latency and a good populated server. (an even balance on alliance / horde)

Any recommendations?

EDIT: Forgot to say must be a PvP server!

Oh really? a UK based server??

And so many people approving of Outland.. can anymore people vouch for this server?

I will be picking a sever tomorrow so I have until then to decide. Are many OcUK gamers on this server?

Sadly moving from US servers since the latency is terrible and times to raid are no good.

Should kick some ass and raid further than over seas

Oh man resto druids.... my alt was a 70 resto druid, was used for Arena mostly. My main was a RAWRIOR!!

Right I just took a look at the population on the Outland server and it is absolutly terrible, how you can PvP on that I dont know.. 87% Horde 13% alliance... that one is not for me.

EDIT: Outland is a fairly new server too... DAMN!! if only the population was more balanced.

EDIT2: OK so the data from that website isn't as acurate as first thought as data is submitted by users and apparently not enough people submit data on Outland server... why cant these things be simply to choose!

Thats what I am looking for, coming from US-Mug'thol it was a pretty balanced/even server where I had a lot of fun PvPing. However Outland's stats are not accurate so I have no idea if I should play there or not.

And no clue on queue times for Arena and BG on that server worries me. Anyone able to answer that in regards to queue times?

They slowly rope you in. Towards the end of the trial it is known that players begin to see flashing images appear on the screen, so fast you dont notice but it happens so often it gets stuck into your head... forcing you to pay-to-play.

They have started this with the Mr T adverts on TV recently.

EDIT: My brother took my suggestion of "trying" Outland as to level his ass without me. I think I should log on and tell him wrong ******* faction!!

Rubbish!

There are 9 or so battlegroups, they are not all the same. Just because your battlegroup tends to win in hordes favour doesn't mean this is how it is for all battlegroups, you might as well go and say alliance ARE in 12yr olds if you belive that because you are generalising just like a lot of Horde players do.

I haven't rolled alliance but I can agree that the "alliance are 12yr old" rant is discussed on 9 out of 10 servers reguarly in general chat. Which couldn't be further from the truth. As someone else said, horde complain a lot, but so do alliance.

This all started with the NE / LotR BS back when WoW and those movies were popular.

Until you've *really* experienced the horror of the average Alliance PUG BG, you can't offer too much of an opinion. My Alliance and Horde characters are in different battlegroups so I can at least offer anecdotal evidence that horde win heavily in 2 server clusters.

What?? there are websites with various stats from all sorts of people, I have played on multiple realms also. I have more experience than you I'm sure and with 3 or so yrs of playing the game on and off I belive I can offer a valid opinion.

If I have or not played alliance it doesn't mean I cant say alliance are good or bad, I have lost many games in BG. I have won many also. It varies from server to server and from battlegroup to battlegroup.

EDIT: Maybe on the EURO servers this is different but I highly doubt it.
