WoW Shattrath Factions Rep

I decided while bored that it would be fun to visit the Jewelcrafting trainer in Thrallmar on my level 52 warlock, so I got a mage to make me a portal to Shattrath. When I got there though, all of the Scryer npcs were green, and the Aldor were red. I checked my rep, and it's coming up as 500/6000 friendly with the Scryer and there's no entry for Aldor :confused:

Does anyone know if this is a bug because I've gone there way earlier than I should have? I'll be a bit annoyed if I have to grind down the Scryer rep, as I'd already planned for this character to be Aldor.

Should I report it to Blizzard, or is there nothing they can do anyway?

Blood elf players

Blood elves who travel to Shattrath before completing any of the quests to determine allegiance will be automatically Friendly with the Scryers and Unfriendly with the Aldor. However, blood elves can later choose to become Aldor; they are not banned from doing so once the opportunity presents itself.

I have, but why put a level limit on when there's such an easy and obvious workaround?

Thanks, I don't read wowwiki, so I wasn't aware of it at all. Yes, she's a blood elf, which means I'll have to do some spider grinding with my higher levels I guess

Why? When you are of the right level just do the quest to choose which faction you want, aldor or scryer and your rep will change accordingly

I'm already Scryer, so I won't get the quest.

The only way you can be scryer is if you have accepted the "scryer or aldor" quest where you choose which you want to be allied with.

As a blood elf you will be natrually green to scryers because of your race when you first go to outlands, just like draenai with aldor, this means nothing, if you had actually read the guys reply above from wowwiki you would realise this, you do a quest to choose which rep you want and the reps will change accordingly. Hello, Hello Mcfly?!
