Hello,
I have two question on wow:

1, Is there anyway to remove a soulbound state from an item in wow?
(I was wondering as i'm losing out on a load of cash when i need to sell to a vendor and not in the AH)

2, If you choose to unlearn a profession (mining, tailoring etc) do you loose all the all the lv's if you choose to do it again ie will you need to relearn from scratch??

Thanks in advance for any help
Warhead ;)

1. Nope, thats the whole point of being soulbound you cant sell it to other players ;)

2. Yes, if you want it again have to start from scratch also any special patterns, designs, recipies you bought or got from quests will be lost

Just confirming the above. The soulbound thing is a money sink, like repairs etc to control the economy. If people can loot money from kills and that money never leaves the economy but is just circulated amongst players it would become far less valuable, 1000000000g for a stack of wool cloth anyone? :)

annoying about loosing all your scrolls that you have collected and i'm glad i asked first lol

i completely understand about keeping economy stable though :-)

cheers for all your help

Soulbound is a way of forcing people to complete content many times over, the content having lock out times its a way of keeping people playing and paying for a prolonged time frame. Nothing more nothing less.

I find soulbound items help to distinguish individual identities- you can have 2 human priests of the same level with the same skills, etc. but what sets them apart could be the soulbound items they are wearing/carrying.
