When in heroic dungeons I seem to get this random stutter.

It seems to happen when looting things...however I've noticed it when quests update the quest tracker on the right side of my screen.

Really bizarre! It happened on my ATI 4870X2 and now it's happening on my GTX 480.

Specs:

i7 920 @ 3.8
6GB RAM
480 GTX
2*80GB SSD RAID 0
1*WD Black 2TB

I'm starting to wonder if it's my Logitech G930 headset...also I've already disabled my mods.

I also seem to get a stutter in heroics sometimes for no apparent reason.

As I have none of the same hardware as you, I am tempted to say it is just some bad coding from Blizzard.

Perhaps it will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Micro-stutter is generally an indication of a huge amount of data being thrown around add-ons which, for the most part, are not coded in the most efficient of ways. You say you have disabled but I would recommend taking a full back-up of your WTF and interface folders and then deleting them completely - Then try.

The config.wtf over time can become bloated and often be abused by addons to any unknown extent.

I had HUGE issues in large aoe at Mount Hyjal and did everything with no joy, a fresh install and FULL interface rebuild was the only fix. Yes, it's a pain, and you can get away with some copying of your more intricate configurations but try to rebuild as much as you can from scratch (assuming a fresh clean WTF/Interface folder stops the stutter)

I get terrible terrible lag at times when my Auctioneer tooltip plugin goes **** up and ANY tool-tip will drop my frames to 1/10th of what they should be.

I would also check you have transparency AA disabled (Whatever ATi's implementation is, if at all?)

This could be the Direct X 11 issue but my gf recently had this problem with wow and used the DX11 shortcut extension and since the latest update has been able to remove it and the game is running perfectly. Worth a try using it though.
