If you go the RAF Trial route it's stuck to 10 days I believe. Certainly mine was. I've only seen 14-day trials via the shops but someone else may know differently.

Ok so if I get a RAF i get 10 days and extra xp?

It was totally awesome, people used to gather round me in town and stuff. There's currently nothing in the game that will make people do that, which tells you something. What's the fun in an MMORPG without any mystery or anything?

I could do every single thing in the game in one week on an 80 char, EXCEPT stuff which is fundamentally impossible to do in a week (daily quest grinding). That kind of stuff was never in the original game. Dailies are horrible because its a totally false cap to extend play time, it's literally the definition of a grind. I've never raised reputations or done dailies in WOTLK because its crap.

Resiliance gear has made PvP stupid as well. The game just has a totally different atmosphere now, and IMO it's a bad one. It is probably great for someone to casually play an hour a night or something but as a dedicated game it seriously gets old fast.

Ok I am still only playing the trial. But to the shame of all I am really enjoying it. Still only playing in dribs and drabs but enought to want to continue after the trial.

Question is, which expansion should I get with the game? Cant see one that does both expansions for a decent price. Cheapest Ive seen is about £14.99 for game and one expansion.

^ Yes £15 is the best I've seen the Battlechest for, or the same to buy WoW/TBC serperately.

Oh sorry and yes to you're earlier question you get triple XP if quest with your friend together. There certain rules in addition to that etc.

You dont even need to quest with them for the extra points. I got up to L14 in no time. He did do a DM run with me which was funny as I just collected the money and followed his path of destruction lol

So do I buy the burning crusade or the lich king one? Or am I getting confused (Which happens a lot
