My GF starting playing WOW over the weekend and some guy gave her a some 18 slot bags (bottomless bags) "to help her get started"!! Couldn't beilive it as these things are apparently very rare and valuable. She said i could have a couple if i wanted but i'm playing as a dark elf in the alliance so she can't mail them to me :-(.
Is there any way I can get these bags from her? It would certainly help as i'm constantly running out of space when picking up items !! :-(

you could get her to put it into neutral ah for next to no gold at a pre set time (preferably at stupid o'clock so not too many people are online) and then quickly snap it up.

Haven't played wow in a few months but i remember a joint auction house at Winterspring - you could arrange a fast transfer there, though if your GF is a low level she may struggle getting there as its a level 50+ zone.

Thanks for that. Can she make sure that only i can buy it (as in, can she accept or reject offers?) Sorry, i'm fairly new to the game myself !! :)

To be homest as long as its about 1am then there probably wont be many people so it should be safe to do the transfer then. Theres an AH in the villiage below crossraods, that shouldn't be too much running.

Yeah, if you're both fairly new to the game I'd recommend going to Ratchet in the Barrens. I presume being 1 of the 4 goblin towns in the game there should be a neutral AH.

risky, i remember a guldie getting a load of arcanite bars for next to nothing at stupid o clock at the neutral AHs. you can't waste a second in buying them back from your GF or i guarantee someone with an ah mod will pick it up.

Gadgetzan in Tanaris is the easiest neutral auction house to reach, though 'easy' is all relative if you're a very low level.

TBH you probably want to just cut your losses now and both roll the same faction - it'll be easier in the long run :D

EDIT - as per the poster above - Booty Bay is much much easier to reach if there is one there. I can't recall where it is though as that place is like a maze.

1) There is no AH in Ratchet.
2) Bottomless Bags are bind on equip
3) While they are technically rare its only because they were the biggest bags before bc launched, you can get non rare 18 slotters from any high level tailor now...

Whats the prob with bind on equip? Do you mean bind on pick-up?

There were the onyxia bags (had four of those beauties) and the panther ones as well before BC

BOE - if your Gf has used the bag she wont be able to put it on AH or mail it to you. Once someone has used the item, its their items and theirs only.

If how ever she has only had them in her bag, taking up a slot, then she could, in theory, at a set time, put it on AH and get you to buy them qiuckly.

Or get a tailor to make them, although they arnt that cheap for tailors to make, but it is an option.

There's a boat from Ratchet to Booty Bay so its a toss-up which is the easiest to reach for a low level.

Going to BB the highest you'll face is probably a lvl 14 in the barrens, going to gadgetzan you'll face the lvl 20's in southern barren , the lift guards if you are ally , lvl 20+ in 100's needles , lvl 30 + in the flats parts before you get to gadgetzan.

Tailors usually make bags although there are a couple of leatherworking bag patters but not very large - kodohide leather bag is one I think.

If you aren't physically in the same room and able to talk to her i'd suggest using MSN or something to co-ordinate her putting them up for sale and only do it one at a time so someone else doesn't leap in while you are buying one of them .

I got a mate of mine to help me do this when i rerolled a couple of ally characters and wanted to transfer some cash over to them from horde and it all went smoothly at around 12am - tbh the neutral auction houses are used far less than the standard faction ones so the chances of you loosing a bid on something or some else buying it are probably very small.
