WoW Trial Streaming?

I currently play WoW, i've managed to persuade my m8 to try the trial, howver when i did the trial, it streamed the game and i was playing in like 10mins but when he downloads the trial stream of the website (trywow.exe i think) it downloads files for 3 mins then wants to download 4.5gb, this cant be right?

Anyone on a trial atm? r u streaming or did u download 4.5gb?

Seems strange that you can stream an application whilst running it?

yeah cause it downloads the starting area of your race and then downloads if you venture into another area, which you arent likely to if ur on 10 day trial

Free relms is all streaming I think. I'm surprised to hear about it on WoW

Did steaming like a month ago, it doesn't download 4.5gb file... It's like 3mb and you run it and it installs the basic files then whilst your ingame it downloads the game data, the first time it needs to get use to it but after it runs fast.

Wouldn't recommend internet speed of under 10mb.

That is the wow installer/downloader.

It is a p2p downloading program. Just download it and run it, it will run you throught the rest.

4-5gb is about rihgt. my wow folder is over 20gb.

I tired the trial last month and yeah it was streaming.
I was playing with a friend and he was showing me around the big city place and went into a building and came out like 30 seconds and there was like thousands of people there which hadnt appeared before, it was quite amazing how big and populated the game is.

But i prefer Age of Conan
