What are the limitations of the trial, obviously only lasts for 10 days and a few races aren't available but is that it ?

I've been playing the trial since friday in Aggramar and now i'm level 13 and there's not much else to do. I tried changing realms but it keeps asking me to create a new character

Going on what you said here, i think it would be best for you to google WoW and read up on it.

Every realm is the same, just different players (due to not being able to fit all 10 million *cough* people on one server)

You can basically go anyhwere in the demo and do anything apart from use certain things like trading,AH and post. But you cant go over a certain lvl. Probably the only races that arnt avaiable are the ones brough in with the expantion.

Each realm is a server, you character only exists on one realm.

What do you mean there's not much else to do?

The trial is only for the original game, so you can't access any BC content, ie no Blood Elves or Draenei. You are limited to level 20, and can't trade with anyone else or mail anything, you also can't whisper another player unless they whisper you first, or invite anyone to a group.
Even with the full game, you can only move your characters to another server once every 6 months, and it coss £15 per character. Most of the time it's not worth moving a character until you're 70 when a lot of people switch because of lack of end game activity on the server, or too high a population where you're stuck with queues.

I'm guessing that you've managed to get yourself stuck in the starting area and haven't started exploring if you can't find anything to do beyond level 13. If you're horde, you should expect to have a quest sending you to The Barrens (Crossroads) or Silverpine (Sepulchur) and if you're alliance it's Westfall (Sentinel Hill) or Loch Modan (Thelsamar).

Maybe you just finished all the quests in the area you started in? Try exploring more and you'll find more things to do.

thanks i understand now, i'm a night elf hunter if that helps :)

Oh, I totally forgot that night elves have their own 2nd area. You should have been given a quest to go through a portal in Darnassus. From that, you're sent on a boat over to Auberdine in Darkshore and there should be LOADS of quests once you step off the boat.

Hehe, it took me a while to figure out how to feed my pet the first time I made a hunter. If you keep feeding him until the little icon to the right of his portrait is a green smiley face, he'll do 125% damage.

just found out the trial starts from when you sign up not from when you start playing so instead of getting 10 days i only got 3 :(

now ive got to decide if i want to buy it.

If you think you need 10 days to test it then use a different e-mail address and sign up for the trial again. the advantage is that you should allready have it downloaded and patched now so you will not loose any time waiting for it to work.

sleepless - cheers :)

gjrc - i went and bought it today, i got some time free between jobs to waste

Makunouchi - na he's not, didn't think off that
