WoW Upgrade

Hi all,

I have a trial WoW account and have just got the Battle chest through the post which has WoW & Burning Crusade in it. How do I upgrade my account so I don't have to download everything?

First install burning crusade if you haven't already and download the automatic updates. Then go to account management and you will find an option to enter your burning crusade key - this will update your account.

That it?! Everyone sure before i do it?

You will need to add your normal key first to move the game from a trial to full version, then add *** BC key.

I don't believe it...My normal key is not being accepted
What should I do?

your trial account IS a normal account, just time limited. so wont accept a normal key.. you dont need it, as you already have it. just put in the BC key and all will be good.

Just tried that - and it didn't work either?! !? WTF?!

you still need a wow key to upgrade the game to the full version, its exatly what I did myself.

Neither code works...bought from an on-line retailer based in Jersey. Was cellophane sealed when recieved

Can you log into your trial account via the wow euro login page?

No I can't...What does that mean?

If the keys you bought are ok then all i can think is that you downloaded and created an American version/account. The euro and american versions are not cross transferable and are treated as totally separate concerns when it comes to customer service and such.

Just spoke to Support and apparently this is exactly what I did.....AARRGGHHH!!!!

No big loss if you're < level 10 anyway. The guild bank will help you out a bit with bags and stuff that the higher levels no longer need.

Is anyone online now that can help me if I create a new account?
