WoW - Use downloaded trial client with retail key?

Hey all,

About to get into this whole WoW thingy finally. Just wondering, as my DVDRW is being a bit cr*p and reading the CDs reeeeeally slowly, is it possible to install the downloaded trial version from fileplanet and use my retail key in that? Would be a whole lot quicker.
