Hi guys i finally got round to installing WoW again and its all good till i get to the end of the latest patch installing! I get this stupid error message and i have no idea what to do :s

"The file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft.lnk.Temporary" could not be created. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (InstallerFile::Create)"

Any help much appreciated as i really want to play tonight and obviously i cant with the client being the august 2006 one till i can install this patch :(

Thanks.

It's a known issue in Vista and there are explanations on the WoW forums about it. As far as I can remember it can be solved by running the patch with right click > run as administrator. (And agreeing to the UAC message if you have it enabled)

Ok thanks dude its all patched up and im in now :)

But another question i have is can you enable Antialiasing ingame or just use the Multi Sampling? I cant remember :s

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you set the AA level in the video options. It is built into the res settings so you set say 1280x1024 2xAA, 1280x1024 4xAA, 1280x1024 8xAA etc.
